A Medical Insurance Company based in Benoni, Gauteng is looking for a Office Cleaner who will carry out a range of cleaning activities to maintain health and safety standards at all times.
Key Performance Areas:
- Clean the premises.
- Stock Control.
- Ad hock.
Key Tasks
Clean the premises
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them Report violation of company rules and regulations (e.g. playing of loud music in parking areas.)
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals.
- Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces.
- Wash dishes and put dishes away in cupboards.
- Throw out expired food in fridge. Wipe down appliances.
Control Stock:
- Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Stock kitchens with groceries and condiments.
- Stock bathrooms.
Ad Hock Tasks:
- Stand in for receptionist when required.
- Clear meeting rooms.
Essential Experience:
- 1-year corporate cleaning experience.
Desirable Experience:
- None.
