Kylian Mbappe Lottin  was born on 2o December 1998 in Paris. Mbappe is a French footballer who plays as a forward for PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) and the France national team. Kylian Mbappe is a very talented young man and is seen to be one of the best players in the world, and as a potential successor of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He is known for his speed, dribbling, finishing and versatility. He played football almost his whole life, and his professional football career started in 2015. He has won many trophies and awards, both individually and collectively, and has broken several records in his young career.

 

He grew up in Bondy, a suburb of Paris, where he started playing football at the age of six. He joined the youth academy of AS Bondy, where his father Wilfried was a coach and his mother Fayza was a former handball player. He showed great talent and potential from an early age, and attracted the attention of many clubs, such as Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City. Mbappe’s future is very bright with PSG, and we still expect more from him as he’s still very young and fresh.

 

However, Mbappe chose to join Monaco in 2013, when he was 14 years old. He made his debut for Monaco’s reserve team in 2015, at the age of 16, becoming the youngest player ever to play in the fourth division of French football. He then made his debut for Monaco’s first team in December 2015, at the age of 17 years and two months, becoming the youngest player ever to play for Monaco. He scored his first goal for Monaco in February 2016, becoming the youngest goalscorer in Monaco’s history.

 

Mbappe had a breakthrough season in 2016-17, when he helped Monaco win the Ligue 1 title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League. He scored 26 goals and provided 14 assists in all competitions, becoming the youngest player ever to score 15 goals in a single European season. He also became the first player ever to score in each of his first four Champions League knockout games. He won the Golden Boy award for the best young player in Europe, and was nominated for the Ballon d’Or.

In 2017, Mbappe joined Paris Saint-Germain on an initial loan deal with an option to buy for €180 million, making him the second-most expensive player and most expensive teenager of all time, in the world. He formed a formidable attacking trio with Neymar and Edinson Cavani, and helped PSG win four consecutive Ligue 1 titles and three Coupes de France. He also led PSG to its first ever Champions League final in 2020, where they lost to Bayern Munich. He became PSG’s all-time top scorer with 147 goals and third all-time in assists with 81, this means that he’s now ahead of his fellow team-mate Lionel Messi.

 

At international level, Mbappe made his debut for France in March 2017, at the age of 18 years and three months, becoming the youngest player ever to play for France under manager Didier Deschamps. He scored his first goal for France in August 2017, becoming the youngest goalscorer for France since Thierry Henry. He represented France at the 2018 World Cup, where he became the youngest French player ever to score at a World Cup, and the second teenager ever to score in a World Cup final after Pele.

He scored four goals in the tournament, including two against Argentina in the round of 16 and one against Croatia in the final. He helped France win its second World Cup title, and won the FIFA World Cup Best Young Player award.

 

Kylian Mbappe also represented France at the 2022 World Cup, where he became the first player ever to score four goals in World Cup finals. He scored a hat-trick against Brazil in the semi-final and a penalty against Italy in the final. However, France lost to Italy on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Mbappe won the Golden Boot as the top scorer of the tournament with eight goals and two assists, and also won the Silver Ball as the second-best player behind Italy’s Marco Verratti.

Mbappe has won many individual awards and honors throughout his career. He has been named to the FIFA FIFPro World three times (2018, 2019 and 2022), the UEFA Team of the Year once (2018) and the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season four times (2016-17, 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22). He has also won Ligue 1 Player of the Year three times (2018-19 ,2020-21 ,2021-22), Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year twice (2016-17, 2017-18) and Ligue 1 top scorer four times (2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22).

He is the only player ever to win Ligue 1 Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and top scorer in the same season (2018-19). He has also won the French Player of the Year twice (2018, 2019), the Golden Boy once (2017) and the Kopa Trophy once (2018). He was among Time’s 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.

 

In conclusion, Mbappe is a phenomenal footballer who has achieved remarkable feats in his short career. He is a joy to watch and a nightmare to defend. He has a bright future ahead of him, and he could become one of the greatest players of all time. He is a role model for many young players and fans, and a pride for France and PSG.
